Overgrowth

Before I go into the video below, I'll explain a bit. This game is called Overgrowth, it's a medivel based game and they've created their own engine to build it. After watching the video you can go to their site here and pre-order it. Doing so will give you the tools to build things and play around with their engine.

The video below isn't a trailer but a tech video with a developer explaining what he's done to update the game since the video before it. It's really interesting to see the process game developers go through on a technical level and I suggest checking it out and watching the video on 720p.

How big is a Minecraft world?

This little animated game in the link below shows you just how big a Minecraft world is compared to other things.  But that's not all it does.  When you open it, and then sit through the 30 second ad for some lame web based flash game, take the slider all the way to the left, then slowly move it to the right by keep it moving gradually.  It's a pretty incredible interactive movie (?) of scale put to some awe inspiring music.  Definitely worth your time.
