Project Eternity By Obsidian.

So the guys who made Fallout: New Vegas (I know, not the best endorsement), are making a video game. And they're using Kickstarter. Say what you will about Double Fine, they are not a studio that makes games anywhere near the size of a Fallout or Elder Scrolls, so it's fair to say this is the first major studio using Kickstarter.
